Sinharaja
The Sinharaja Reserve is considered the last viable area of primary rainforest in Sri Lanka and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With your local guide, discover the many hiking routes in the Sinharaja jungle and enjoy the many waterfalls and natural pools, hundreds of bird species and endemic trees.
Knuckles
If you love adventure in the wilderness, the Knuckles is for you. From family-friendly trails through plains, waterfalls and villages, to multi-day jungle tours and bivouacs, enjoy fantastic views and unique encounters.
Adam's Peak
Adam's Peak is one of the highest peaks in Sri Lanka, reaching 2243 meters. It is also the place of pilgrimage used by thousands of believers every year, Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims. Leave in the middle of the night and climb the 5500 steps to the top before dawn, settle down with a hot tea to enjoy the exceptional spectacle of the Sri Lankan sunrise.
Horton Plains
Horton Plains National Park, located in the heart of the mountains and tea plantations, is a vast plain of meadows, waterfalls and cloud forests. The various trails you can hike are accessible to all ages. Leave in the early morning to avoid the thick fog and make your way to the World's End, a precipice with a breathtaking view.
Ella's Rock
Climb Ella's Rock to enjoy one of the most beautiful views in Sri Lanka. The hardest part of this unmarked hike of about 10 kilometers is finding your way to the top. Once on top, all you have to do is enjoy the view of the Ella Valley and the South of the country.
